• Main responsibilities HSE Coordinator/ Trainer are: • Manage the trainings as per “HSE Training Matrix”. • Ensure that all “HSE Training Passports” are properly filled and updated after completion of training courses and positive result of competency tests. • Prepare the adequate training delivers, materials, schedule. • Draft the training performance record and report regularly to HSSE Manager for reference. • Ensure the objectives of the HSE Training Plan are met. • Ensure that appropriate records of trainings are updated and maintained.

• Visiting Construction and Commissioning sites to inspect processes and procedures and ensure good health and safety practice; • Investigating accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety law; • Ensuring workers are provided with suitable protective equipment, such as eye goggles, ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and clothing; • Keeping up to date with new legislation and health and safety standards; • Staying informed about developments within particular sectors, e.g. in agricultural or construction settings; • Writing reports on results of inspections and investigations and completing detailed paperwork; • Determining when action, i.e. notices or prosecution, may be necessary and gathering and presenting the appropriate evidence; • Developing health and safety working programmes and strategies; • Developing methods to predict possible hazards drawn from experience, historical data and other appropriate information sources; • Providing training and educational support to employers and new or trainee employees.

AZFEN J.V, Sanqachal Terminal ( Shah Deniz 2 Onshore Terminal Facility Construction Works Project) Permit To Work Coordinator for the BP/Tekfen-Azfen Alliance * Issuing and subsequent control of the PTW System on the facility ; * Routine facility tours monitoring PTW use/application ; * Ensuring the correct permit and/or isolation certificate is used * Ensuring the correct signs, tags and locks are issued for use * Responsible for ensuring the appropriate Task Based Risk Assessment process is in place and being implemented for PTW activities * Act as focal point for all matters relating to Permit Issue and Control * Attend the daily PTW planning and scheduling meeting ; * Attend Risk Assessment meetings when required ; * Ensure Permit office personnel carry out Inspections ; * Maintain an Inspection/Audit Register ; * Maintain records of authorised AA's, PA's, SAEP's, REP's, AEP's, AIP's and IA's with letters of authorisation and examples of signatures, as required * Provide and Maintain Worksite Plot Plans that indicate by the use of colour / number coded discs or other means, hazardous locations and the type of permits that are being used to control tasks * Maintain plot plans of energised/pressurized plant, areas, and equipment, to allow appropriate permit controls and shall also file this information * Maintain a display board of all permit's and certificates in use over the whole worksite. * Maintain an accurate and up to date cross reference between permits and supplementary certificates relevant to each area

In this position the tasks and responsibilities are related to the managing of the permit to work system in order to establish a safe working environment during medium and larger projects. The client PTW system forms the basis of the coordinator's activities.
